BREAKING NEWS (K Sai Kiran) refused to move towards the starting gates from the 1800 Metres. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under starter’s order. 

Mr. SHANGHAI (Ahsan Qureshi) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Md. It was observed that PERFECT IMAGINATION (N B Kuldeep) drifted out alarmingly under the use of whip despite the best efforts of the rider to keep it on an even course, from the 400 Metres till passing the winning post and as such, it finished the race on the outer portion of the grass track. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but, no abnormality was reported; However, Trainer Mr. S M Johnson was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

Jockey R Shiva Kumar, the rider of PERFECT PERFECTO, reported that he accidentally lost his whip passing the 350 Metres.
