Racing Incidents

At the request of Trainer M. Narredu, PHANTA was examined at the stable area at 10.50 a.m. on 28/07/2022 and found to be lame by left fore leg. Hence the filly was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on Veterinary grounds and has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.
 
At the request of Trainer Altaf Hussain, QUEENS PRIDE was examined at the stable area at 10.00 a.m. on 29/07/2022 and was observed swelling on left hind fetlock and found to be lame. Hence the filly was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on Veterinary grounds and has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.
 
At the start, OUTLANDER (App. Haridas Gore, dr.4) took a fly jump outwards at the same time ESPERANZA (S. Zervan, dr.5) jumped inwards and made contact.
 
At the start, LIGHTNING BLAZE (Akash Agarwal, dr.6) outwards and brushes the haunches of MERIDIA (R. Ajinkya, dr.7).
 
At the start, PRINCE IGOR (Shrikant Kamble, dr.13) jumped out slowly losing about 4 lengths and thereafter veered inwards and collided with the inner rails. As such, Trainer Narendra Lagad has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the gelding to the satisfaction of the Starter, before next accepting to race.
 
Soon after the start, MOJO (Bhawani Singh) shifted in and went across HIGH SPIRIT (Dashrath Singh) who was marginally slow to begin and had to be steadied. Jockey Bhawani Singh has been cautioned.
 
Passing the 250 metres, OUTLANDER (App. Haridas Gore) shifted in and went across MUFAZA (N. S. Parmar) who had to be checked. As such, App Jockey. Haridas Gore has been fined Rs.2,000/-.
 
In the final stages of the race it was observed that Jockey Bhawani Singh (MOJO) had used the whip in an improper manner. As such he has been fined Rs. 2000/-.
 
After the race, Jockey Dashrath Singh (MIRAE) reported that his mount was running green.
 
After the race, Jockey Bhawani Singh (MOJO) reported that his mount lugged-in in the straight despite his efforts. Trainer Faisal A. Abbas has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.
 
After the race, LIGHTNING BLAZE was trotted and found to be sound.
