GOLDEN RING (Khurshad Alam) reared up, broke the front barriers, bolted and ran rider less. On immediate examination, it was found to have sustained deep cut injury on the muzzle. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's order. Trainer Mr. S. Narredu (deputizing on behalf of Trainer Mr. Rajesh Narredu) was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
