Racing Incidents

Trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi was fined Rs. 5,000/- for not obtaining prior permission for his charge SOFIYA (P. Trevor) to race with Tongue Strap. Subsequently, permission was granted to him to run his charge SOFIYA with a Tongue Strap.

Trainer Mr. S. Ganapathy was fined Rs.5,000/- for discrepancy in shoeing in respect of his charge QUICK WITTED (1st infringement).

Jockey K. Sai Kiran, the rider of THE REPUBLIC POWER was fined Rs.2,000/- for travelling wide from 1000 Metres till about 600 Metres for no apparent reason.

It was observed that Jockey IndraJeet Singh, the rider of LIMITED EDITION had to steady his mount to avoid striking the front runner FIREFINCH (Salman Khan) approaching 800 Metres.

Jockey S.Mubarak, the rider of FLAMINGO ROAD was reprimanded for travelling wide between 600 Metres till about 400 Metres.

Jockey K. Sai Kiran, the rider of THE REPUBLIC POWER reported that his mount was hanging 'in' in the final 300 Metres. The horse was subjected to veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. Trainer Mr.Sharat Kumar was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

Jockey Mohammed Aliyar, the rider of QUICK WITTED reported that he accidently lost his whip passing the 200 Meters.

MAROON (Shamaz Shareef) sustained superficial injury on right hind pastern.

FLAMINGO ROAD (S.Mubarak) sustained superficial injury on right hind pastern.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f SOFIYA.
