TWIN FLAME (Angad) was extremely fractious at the gates, reared up, dropped the rider and ran rider less round the course. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s Orders.

BEAUTIFUL OBLIVIAN (P Kiran Rai) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Girinath C was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in One Gate Jump on a Starting Gate practice day.

OMERTA (A Ayaz Khan) jumped awkwardly outwards at the start.

It was observed that PINNINFARINA (Shamaz Shareef) accidentally stumbled approaching the 1000 Metres thereby dislodging its rider. As the occurrence was purely accidental, no action was taken beyond noting the incident. 

Jockey M J Gautam Raj Urs, the rider of ARMAMENT reported that he accidentally lost his right rein in the final 150 Metres of the Race, which he regained within a few strides. 

Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of FESTIVE STAR reported that his mount was trying to run out throughout the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and on examination by the Club’s Veterinary Officer it was reported to have sustained fresh injury on left oral commissure. 

Jockey Salman Khan, the rider of FLYING FALCON reported that his mount was hanging out throughout the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. Aditya K was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of BEAUTIFUL OBLIVIAN, trained by Mr. Girinath C and ridden by Jockey P Kiran Rai in the above race.
