As Jockey Vivek. G was certified medically unfit to ride. Permission was granted to trainer Mr. V. Lokanath to declare Jockey Salman Khan to ride KING OF WAR in place of the declared rider.

Jockey Darshan R.N, the rider of STELLAR GOLD was fined Rs.5,000/- for coming 'in' and causing interference to SILVER CANYON (P. Trevor) on his inside approaching 1600 Metres.

Jockey V.R.Jagadeesh, the rider of GREAT HOPE reported that his saddle shifted forward passing the 1400 Metres, as such he could not offer full assistance to his mount during the race. After due examination of the equipment, Trainer Mr. Monnappa C. D. was fined Rs. 3,000/- for faulty saddling of his charge.

It was observed that KING POMPOUS (M. Prabhakaran) was inclined to run out from the 700 Metres and ran detached from 350 Metres. The horse was subjected to veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. Rajesh Narredu was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.
