Racing Incidents

Consequent to Jockey Kuldeep Singh (Sr) having been declared medically unfit to ride, the Stewards of the Club permitted Jockey B R Kumar to be substituted on AMYRA.
 
ROYAL GRACE (Afroz Khan) and PAINTED APACHE (Surya Prakash) jumped out slowly losing about 1 or 2 lengths each.
 
Jockey R S Jodha (MARK MY DAY) was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in at about the 1200 mtrs in the process taking the ground of STUNNING FORCE ( Deepak Singh) and again shifting in at about the 1000 mtrs in the process crowding the runners on his inside resulting in tightening BANGOR ON DEE (S. Saqlain).
 
Explanation of Jockey S. Saqlain (BANGOR ON DEE) that he was tightened for room at about the 1000 mtrs and was also denied a clear run at about the 200 mtrs due to wall of horses racing in front, noted.
 
Explanation of Jockey B. Nikhil (BLISSFUL) that his mount started dropping back from about the 600 mtrs in the process causing inconvenience to EXOTIC DANCER (App. Sonu Kumar) racing directly behind and thereafter finished the course at the rear end of the field. Subsequent Veterinary examination of revealed that though the filly was trotting sound, but had sharp molars on both sides. Trainer K. Satheesh was fined a sum of Rs. 1000/- for negligence in discharging of his duties in presenting of his charge in a race.
