App. Ajay Kumar (BRIAR RIDGE) was fined Rs. 1000/- for travelling wide while negotiating the final bend and also in the straight.

Explanation of Jockey A. Ashhad Asbar (ICICLE) that his instructions were to sit close 4th/5th which he tried to follow until entering the straight and when asked for an effort his mount took time to get into stride in the straight inspite of his best efforts, noted. The Jockey was however, fined Rs. 5,000/- for excessive and improper use of whip (1st offense).

Jockey Vivek G (NIGHTMARE) were fined Rs. 5,000/- for excessive and improper use of whip (1st offense).

Explanation of Trainer L.V.R. Deshmukh with regard to inconsistent running of his charge NUGGET (Akshay Kumar) winner of the race who finished off board in the previous run that his charge was always consistent except in Race No. 131 where the filly was denied a clear run in the final 100 mtrs of the race and lost momentum due to wall of horses and the Jockey could not ride out his mount to complete advantage thereafter as compared to the present race where the Jockey could able to go to front in a small field, set his own pace and given a clear run and just managed to win the race.  As this confirmed our observation, the Trainers explanation was noted for future reference.

The Veterinary examination of BRIAR RIDGE (App. Ajay Kumar) after the race revealed that though the gelding was trotting sound but had sharp molars on both sides. Trainer K.S.V. Prasad Raju was fined Rs. 1000/- for negligence in discharging his duties in presenting of his charge for a race.

The Veterinary examination of MORIOR INVICTUS (Md. Ismail) revealed that though the mare was trotting sound but had sharp molars on both sides. Trainer M.F. Ali Khan was fined Rs. 1000/- for negligence in discharging his duties in presenting of his charge for a race.
