Consequent to Jockey A Imran Khan having been declared medically unfit to ride, the Stewards of the Club permitted Jockey A A Vikrant to be substituted on MISS MARVELLOUS.
 
Consequent to Jockey Akshay Kumar having been declared medically unfit to ride, the Stewards of the Club permitted Jockey Mohit Singh to be substituted on BEST BUDDY.
 
Jockey Mohit Singh (BEST BUDDY) (drawn 9) was fined Rs.2000/- for cutting across the field on to inner railing soon after the start when he was not sufficiently clear of the field.
 
Explanation of App. Ekram Alam (ICE BERRY) that his mount maintained an erratic course in the initial stages of the race in the process forced out ITS ON (Abhay Singh) and thereafter he felt something bad and pulled his mount at about the 400 mtrs was noted.  Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that the mare was walking lame on right fore. 
 
Explanation of Jockey A M Tograllu (INHERITOR) with regard to the dismal performance of his mount that his instructions were to position well up with the field in the initial stages of the race which he tried to follow until entering into straight and thereafter when asked for an effort, the gelding shortened the strides and dropped back in the final 300 mtrs inspite of his best efforts.  Trainer B. Mukesh Kumar while confirming the above added that this being the 1st run of the gelding during this season did not run to the potential and he has no plausible explanation to offer with regard to his charges dismal performance.  The Trainer further added that he has given a Mock race to the gelding before the race where the gelding ran impressively and based on the work of the gelding, he has fancied his charge was noted for future reference.
 
The Veterinary examination of INHERITOR (A M Tograllu) after the race revealed that though the gelding was trotting sound but had sharp molars on both sides. Trainer B Mukesh Kumar was fined a sum of Rs. 1000/- for negligence in discharging his duties in presenting of his charge for a race.
