Racing Incidents

Jockey Mukesh Kumar (SIDDHARTH) was cautioned for shifting out and forcing out COMMANDING KNIGHT (P. Sai Kumar) and THANKS (App. Kuldeep Singh) while negotiating the final bend for no apparent reason.
 
Explanation of Jockey Afroz Khan (BANGOR ON DEE) that his mount did not show any turn of foot in the straight inspite of his best efforts, noted for future reference.
 
Explanation of Jockey Kuldeep N B (UNSUNG HERO) that his mount did not raise a fluent gallop in the straight inspite of his best efforts, noted. Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that the gelding was trotting lame on left fore probably due to tendon strain.
 
LAURUS (Santosh Ran N R) dropped back from about the 700 mtrs and finished the course distance behind. Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that though the gelding was trotting sound but had a sharp molars on both sides. Trainer R H Sequeira was fined a sum of Rs.1000/- for negligence in discharging his duties in presenting of his charge in a race.
