The saddle of ROYAL FALCON (D S Deora) slipped in the final 200 metres.Trainer N. Govindarajan was reprimanded for serious action in the future.

MEMORY LANE (A S .Peter) jumped out,came across AIR MARSHALL (K V Baskar) unbalancing him which had to be steadied.

MR MOZART (Ram Nandan Manjhi) was trying to run out throughout the race.Trainer K. S. Mandanna was advised to take remedial measures.The Club's Veterinary Officer when asked to examine the gelding reported after the race that no abnormalities were found.

The Club's Veterinary Officer reported after the race that LADY ZEEN (P.S.Kaviraj) was suffering from sore back.Trainer Fahad Khan was informed to get his charge certified fit by the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting next with.

ORDER OF THE STEWARDS RACE NO.114,THE DANZIG HANDICAP (ABOUT 1200 METERS) FOR HORSES RATED 0 to 25, FOR 5 YEARS OLD AND OVER RUN ON THE NINETEENTH DAY, MONDAY, 1ST JANUARY 2024.

The Stewards of Madras Race Club at their meeting held on Monday, 29th January 2024, considered the Analytical Report received from Quantilab, Mauritius, pertaining to the Analysis of the Urine Sample taken from Ch.m.5 year old, ROYAL FALCON(trained by N. Govindarajan), winner in Race No. 114, which had shown the presence of Cobalt, a prohibited substance above the international threshold limit in the sample of the urine which was taken from the said horse, after the race it had won.

The Stewards also noted the following:- The Trainer was informed of this and was given the option of sending the split sample of the urine of the said horse for confirmatory analysis. The Trainer N. Govindarajan informed the Club that he would wish to send the split sample of the Urine of the horse to LCH, FRANCE for testing the confirmatory analysis at the Trainer’s expenses.

The Stewards of the Club at their meeting held on Sunday, 18th February 2024 considered the split sample report of Ch.m 5 year old ROYAL FALCON received from LCH, France dated (13.02.2024) confirming the presence of “COBALT” above the international threshold limit. The Stewards of the Club then decided to disqualify the winner, Ch.m 5 year old ROYAL FALCON from The Danzig Handicap run on Monday( 01.01.2024) and revised the order of placing as under:-
