DORON (P. S. Chouhan, dr.2) reared up in the stall. The colt was taken out and examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O., who certified him fit to race.
ROUGE (T. S. Jodha, dr.3) was very playful inside the gates and hence the filly was taken out of the gates and was examined by the Sr. V.O who certified her fit to race.
WIND DANCER (P. Trevor, dr.6) was continuously lashing out at the back gates. As such, the filly was taken out and was examined by the Club’s Sr. V. O. who reported that the filly had multiple injuries on both hind and was found to be sore by right hind. As such, the filly was withdrawn, before coming under the Starters order and has to be passed fit by Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race. Further, Trainer Dallas Todywalla has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the filly to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
QUICKER (S. J. Sunil, dr.11) refused to be stalled, despite substantial efforts. As such, the gelding was withdrawn, before coming under the Starters order. Trainer M. Narredu has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the gelding to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
At the start, EXPEDITE (S. A. Amit, dr.12) jumped outwards and had to be steadied.
Approaching the 200 metres, ROUGE (T. S. Jodha) veered out and collided with the outer railing and fell along with the rider thereafter the filly was given first aid and shifted to the Equine Hospital for further management. Subsequently, the Sr. V.O. reported that she had fractured her left shoulder, as such, the filly was euthanized on humanitarian grounds.
After the race, FAST APPROACH was observed to have injury on right hind pastern.
After the race, CINDERELLA’S DREAM was trotted and found to be sound.
