Racing Incidents

Explanation of Jockey Surya Prakash (LUCKY ZONE) that his instructions were to sit close with front runners which he tried to follow until entering the straight and thereafter he was forced out at about 250 metres because of which he clipped the heels of front runner GREAT GUNS (Santosh Raj S) and dropped back from about the 200 mtrs and finished the course distance behind.
 
The Board of Directors/Stewards suspended Jockey Santosh Raj N R (GREAT GUNS) from riding in races w.e.f. Thursday 8th February 2024 to Monday, 12th February 2024 both days inclusive for careless riding in that “ he shifted out at about the 250 mtrs when he was not sufficiently clear of LUCKY ZONE (Surya Prakash) racing on his outside, in the process causing interference to the latter.
 
MORIOR INVICTUS (G. Naresh) was observed to be trotting lame on left fore due to fetlock joint sprain.
 
HUNTINGDON (Mukesh Kumar) winner of the race is sampled.
