HARVESTIME was examined by the Veterinary Officer at the starting gates and found to be lame on left hind. Under the circumstances the horse was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s orders. Tr. Aashay Doctor was advised not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

SWIFT and BASHARAT were slow to begin.

Jockey P Trevor (TIGER MOUNTAIN) reported that his mount was tending to hang out for the greater part of the race and further he had to switch course to the inside passing the 150 metres as the front runners drifted out.

Post race endoscopy of GALATICUS by the Veterinary Officer revealed that the filly was suffering from respiratory tract infection.

The Veterinary Officer reported that MONTELENA returned with injury on right hind.

b m ARTEMIS IGNACIA was observed to drift out when placed under pressure passing the 200 metres of the race in spite of the Jockey’s best efforts. On the morning of 22nd February, 2024 b m ARTEMIS IGNACIA was examined by the Veterinary Officer and found to be lame on right fore. Tr. Neil Darashah was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
