Racing Incidents

Jockey J H Arul (MARS) reported that his mount veered outwards passing the 1400 metres on to the outer rails, turned around and did not finish the course. He further added that the bit used on his mount had slipped out. Tr. Neil Darashah was advised to take remedial measures and not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Steward in a mock race. Jockey Shezad Khan (DEVINE CHAKRA) reported loss of whip passing the 500 metres.

Jockey Sujit Kr Paswan, the rider of SUN GOD, was fined a sum of Rs. 3,000/- for excessive use of the whip (1st infringement).
