Racing Incidents

Permission was granted to Trainer K. S. Mandanna to deputise on behalf of Trainer M.
M. Uthaiah for DESPACITO (Hindu Singh) at both trainer's risk and liability.

Jockey A S .Peter, the rider of KNOTTY IN BLUE reported that after the jump the gelding threw his head up.The Club's Veterinary Officer reported that KNOTTY IN BLUE (A S .Peter) sustained superficial injury on his Right fore cannon after the race.

A preliminary enquiry was opened into the reversal of form on GREAT SPIRIT (Kuldeep Singh) trained by K. S. Mandanna.The Trainer stated the mare raced in higher class in her previous run .She was well up in her last start and he took a chance in the lower class and the Jockey in this race got a chance to go to the front and the mare held on to win. Not being satisfied with the explanation tendered by the Trainer, the matter was reported to the Stewards of the Club.

The Club's Veterinary Officer reported after the race that WILD FRANK (M.S.Deora) had pulled up lame on his left fore during the race. Trainer G. S. Parmar was informed to get his charge certified fit by the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting next with.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner GREAT SPIRIT (Kuldeep Singh).
