Racing Incidents

N R I SUPERPOWER (Abhay Singh) and LAST WISH (A. Ashhed Asbar) were denied a clear run soon after the start due to crowding of the field.

Explanation of Jockey A. Ashhad Asbar (LAST WISH) in the presence of Trainer L.V.R. Deshmukh that his instructions were to sit off the pace, not to brush in the initial stages of the race and to do his best in the straight which he tried to follow but got beat in the final stages of the race was not accepted and the Jockey A. Ashhad Asbar was fined a sum of Rs.10,000/- for failing to ride out his mount to complete advantage in the final stages of the race and was cautioned to ensure that similar lapses do not occur in future.

Jockey Mukesh Kumar (SHADOW OF THE MOON) was severely reprimanded for dropping his hands in the final 150 mtrs though on a beaten horse.
