As Jockey P Tejeshwar, the substituted Jockey in place of Jockey Arul JH was declared medically unfit to ride and there was no suitable Jockey available to further substitute Jockey P Tejeshwar, Tr. Shafiq Khan was permitted to withdraw his charge IMPERMANENCE from the race.

An enquiry was held immediately after the running of the race with particular reference to the fall of gr f SNOW LEOPARD along with its rider Jockey A Sandesh. At the conclusion of the enquiry it was established that SNOW LEOPARD which was leading the field well into the straight, sustained a fracture on its left shoulder and fell. Further, DANCE ALONG shied away from the fallen horse and dislodged Jockey Yash Narredu, who escaped unhurt. The Stewards decided that the fall was accidental and the “All Clear” for the race was given. Jockey A Sandesh was given immediate medical attention and was kept under observation.

As SNOW LEOPARD was in severe pain and agony, it was euthanized on humanitarian grounds.
