Racing Incidents

Permission has been granted to Trainer L D Silva to saddle SHAH OF IRAN (Md. Ismail) on behalf of Trainer S A Raza Shehzad Abbas at both the Trainers’ risk and liability.
 
Jockey A. Ashhad Asbar (DIVINE DESTINY) was cautioned for shifting in soon after the start in the process taking the ground of SHAH OF IRAN (Md. Ismail).
 
Jockey Mukesh Kumar (DELHI HEIGHTS) was cautioned for shifting out at about the 1000 mtrs in the process forcing out WALLOP AND GALLOP (P. Ajeeth Kumar)
 
App. Md. Ekram Alam (ENCORE) was fined Rs. 2000/- for hitting the whip hand of Jockey G Naresh (BROOKLYN BEAUTY) in the final 25 mtrs whereby Jockey G. Naresh lost his whip.
 
PATH OF PEACE (App. Kuldeep Singh) trailed the field throughout the race.  Trainer L.V.R. Deshmukh was advised for a better performance in future.
 
An objection lodged by Jockey G. Naresh (BROOKLYN BEAUTY) placed 2nd by the Judge, against App. Jockey Md. Ekram Alam (ENCORE) winner, that " the App is continuously hitting his mount from about the 200 mtrs and also hitting his right hand whip side in the final 50 mtrs due to which he lost his whip that cost me a certain race" was overruled by the Stewards and the judges placing remaining unaltered.
 
Veterinary examination of ONLY MY WAY (Afroz Khan) revealed that though the gelding was trotting sound but had sharp molars on both sides. Trainer L D Silva was fined Rs. 1000/- for negligence in discharging his duties in presenting of his charge for a race.
