As Jockey Yash Narredu was declared medically unfit to ride after the 5th race, Tr. Rutherford Alford was permitted to substitute Jockey RS Bhati to ride his mount XTRAVAGANT STAR.

REGENCY GOLD was difficult to load.

IMPERMANENCE was extremely fractious, refused to be stalled in spite of repeated attempts and reared up and charged at the gates in the process. Under the circumstances the mare was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders. The Starting Stall Certificate has been revoked.

An objection was lodged by Jockey Neeraj Rawal, the rider of TRES BIEN placed 4th by the Judge against Jockey Sujit Kr Paswan, the rider of BUNDLE OF CHARM placed 2nd on the grounds of “kept coming out into the straight and at the last 100 metres he violently drifted out for which I had to check my horse which cost me a third place”. The Stewards after interviewing Jockeys Neeraj Rawal and Sujit Kr Paswan, viewing the CCTV replay of the race and taking into consideration the opinion expressed by the Stipendiary Stewards, decided to overrule the objection and let the Judge’s placings to remain unaltered.  The “All Clear” signal was ordered to be hoisted.

Jockey Sujit Kr Paswan (BUNDLE OF CHARM) was advised to make better efforts on his mounts to maintain a straight course in future.

Jockey R Vaibhav (SEA SALT CARAMEL) reported that he was inconvenienced passing the 900 metres when XTRAVAGANT STAR shifted out.
