Racing Incidents

At the start, SERRANO (N. S. Parmar, dr.8) jumped outwards onto LORD MURPHY (K. Pranil, dr.9) causing the latter to be steadied.

Soon after the start, ATTAINED (Antony Raj S.) shifted out thereby bumping CIPHER (K. Nazil) who in turn shifted out onto NELSON RIVER (S. G. Prasad) causing the latter to be steadied. Jockey Antony Raj S. has been cautioned.

Approaching the 700 metres, SUPREME SPIRIT (App. N. Bhosale) shifted in sharply thereby tightening and inconveniencing ATTAINED (Antony Raj S.) racing along the rails causing the latter to check and drop back due to which NAIROBI (Neeraj Rawal) racing on its haunches was inconvenienced and had to check and change course thereby carrying CIPHER (K. Nazil) outwards. After questioning and not being satisfied, App. N. Bhosale has been suspended for one race day i.e. on 7th September 2024 for careless riding (permitted to ride work / mock race).

After the race, RED MERLOT was examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O. and was found to be sore by right fore. The gelding has to be passed fit by Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.

After the race, ATTAINED was trotted and found to be sound and ARIYANA STAR was observed to have an injury on left nostril
