NKALANZINZI (P. Ajeeth Kumar) jumped out slowly losing about 1 or 2 lengths.
 
Explanation of Jockey P. Sai Kumar (JUST INCREDIBLE) that his instructions were to sit 4th/5th which he tried to follow until entering the straight and thereafter when asked for an effort, his mount did not show any turn of foot in the straight inspite of his best efforts. Trainer S Sreekanth while confirming the above added that he too was baffled with the running of his charge and has no plausible explanation to offer with regards to his charges poor performance was noted for future reference. Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that though the gelding was trotting sound but has sharp molars on both sides. Trainer S. Sreekanth was fined Rs.2000/- for negligence in discharging his duties in present of his charge for a race.   Trainer was further informed that any reversal of form, he will be liable for severe disciplinary action as deemed fit.
 
SILVER LINING (M. Mark) and MASTER TOUCH (Surya Prakash) dropped back from about the 400 mtrs finishing the course at the rear end of the field.  Respective Trainers L D Silva and S S F Hassan were advised for a better performance in future.
