It was observed that SCARLETTE LADY (Akshay Kumar) suddenly shied towards the inside and inconvenienced DOUBLE SCOTCH (Girish R.) passing the 1100 Metres.

DOUBLE SCOTCH (Girish R.) reared up as the gates opened, whereby the rider lost his right stirrup and regained it at about 550 Metres.

Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala and Jockey Suraj Narredu were questioned regarding the running and riding of PROMISEOFTHEFUTURE in the above race.

The trainer stated that:

a) He had not given any specific instructions as Jockey Suraj Narredu had ridden this horse in the mock race;

b) The horse had sustained a cannon bone fracture during its previous start, subsequently, it was certified fit to run;

c) The horse may have not liked the hard going.

The Jockey while corroborating the statements of the trainer added that his mount lacked the experience.

Their explanations were noted for future reference.

PROMISEOFTHEFUTURE (Suraj Narredu) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
