Racing Incidents

Tr. Rutherford Alford informed the Stipendiary Stewards that his charge REGENCY GOLD was presented late to the parade ring as Jockey R Vaibhav took considerable time to weigh out for the race. REGENCY GOLD was difficult to load.

ROYAL RIDER was slow to begin.

Jockey Shezad Khan (DUBAI STATION) reported that he received a check passing the 800 metres when Jockey Hindu Singh (VINAMRAO) came in. Jockey Hindu Singh was reprimanded for the same.

Jockey R Vaibhav (REGENCY GOLD) was fined a sum of Rs. 10,000/- for attempting to weigh-out without a proper body protector as also without the girth and surcingle. The Jockey was further advised to refrain from indulging in such activities to avoid being reported to the Stewards for appropriate action. The Jockey was further fined a sum of Rs. 20,000/- for the tender handling of his mount from about the 500 metres till well into the straight.

The Veterinary Officer reported that KAITLAN returned with right hind fetlock and heel injuries.
