Explanation of Trainer Jasbir Singh with regard to the improved performance of his charge MR. PERFECT (G. Naresh) winner of this race, who finished off board in the previous race that his charge ran in Race No. 60 which was the 1st run during this season after a long gap of 4 ½ months with a tougher bunch as compared to this race, the set being weak with the withdrawal of the favourite and also had a run benefit which added to his charges improved performance and went on to win the race.  The Trainer further added that he had not fancied his charge but gave a chance, noted. The Trainer was however, cautioned to ensure that his charges race more consistently in future, failing which he will be liable for severe disciplinary action as deemed fit.

Explanation of Jockey Kuldeep Singh (Sr) (INDIAN TEMPLE) in the presence of Trainer S. Sreekanth that his instructions were to position close 4th/5th which he tried to follow until entering the straight and thereafter he did his best in the straight was confirmed by Trainer was not accepted and the Jockey has been fined Rs.5000/- for tender handling of his mount in the initial stages of the race thereby placing his mount at a disadvantage in the final stages of the race. Further, Trainer S. Sreekanth was fined a sum of Rs.5000/- for inconsistent instructions between the races.

INDIAN TEMPLE (Kuldeep Singh (Sr)) was examined after the race and was observed to be trotting lame on left fore due to fetlock joint sprain.
