During routine Veterinary Examination on 13/09/24 at 9.38 am ANNALISA (Shah Alam)was observed to be trotting lame on left fore due to sprained fetlock and was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Trainer Fahad Khan was asked to get his charge certified fit by the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting next with.

Soon after the start ,THE STING (A S .Peter drawn -6) jumped outwards and went on to EMPIRE OF DREAMS (M.S.Deora drawn -5) who had to check at the same time STOLEN GLANCE (Shankar Lal H) shifted due to which AUTUMN LIGHT (A.M.Tograllu) racing between was tightened for room had to be steadied.Jockey A S .Peter, was cautioned.

An Enquiry was held by the Stipendiary Stewards into the Running and Riding of "EMPIRE OF DREAMS" on Sunday,14-09-24 at 4.30 p.m.

THE HOVERCRAFT HANDICAP - (RACE NO 15)

Trainer Suraj Prasad Shaw and Jockey M S Deora were called and questioned regarding the running and riding of "EMPIRE OF DREAMS".

The trainer informed his instructions were to sit 2nd/ 3rd since he is carrying top weight and do his best in the straight he said Jockey informed him soon after the start his horse threw his head up and got interfered by the horse on his outside when asked whether he was satisfied with Jockey M S Deora's ride he said he could have been more vigorous he opined with the Chief Stipendiary Steward that he did not use his whip in the straight and not vigorous in his riding effort.

Jockey M S Deora was asked to explain he informed his instructions were to sit 2nd / 3rd and do his best in the straight. The video recording of the race was shown when asked where his effort was near 600 mts and also in the straight.

Having considered the Submissions by the Trainer and also the past performance of Horse "EMPIRE OF DREAMS" the explanation tendered by Trainer was accepted and was asked to be more judicious in his future running of his Charges.

After hearing Jockey M S Deora's submission tendered by him the explanation was noted. However, considering all facts and findings Jockey M S Deora was fined Rs 10,000/ for injudicious riding on his mount "EMPIRE OF DREAMS".

He was asked to be more careful in his riding engagements. He was also informed of his Right to Appeal.
