Explanation of Jockey B R Kumar (SHAH OF IRAN) in the presence of Trainer S A Raza Shehzad that his instructions were to go to front or sit in box seat, but his mount did not show initial speed as such he could not position his mount well up with the field in the initial stages of the race and his mount gradually gained ground in the straight was not accepted and the Jockey was fined Rs. 3000/- for failing to improve his position in the initial stages of the race to follow the given instructions.

Explanation of Jockey Kuldeep Singh (Sr) (CITY OF BLESSING) that his mount while travelling with the bunch suddenly dropped back from about the 1200 mtrs and finished the course at the rear end of the field inpsite of his best efforts noted for future reference.  Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that though the gelding was trotting sound but has sharp molars on both sides.  Trainer D. Netto was fined Rs. 1000/- for negligence in discharging his duties in presenting of his charge for race.
