Racing Incidents

The Sr. V.O. reported that PRECIOSO did not complete the recommended withdrawal period for Phenylbutazone Injection. As such, the gelding was struck out at the acceptance stage and Trainer Nazzak B. Chenoy has been fined Rs.5,000/- for the lapse.

At the behest of the Stipendiary Stewards, MILLI (Vishal N. Bunde) was examined at the starting gate and was certified fit to race.

SIM SIM (K. Nazil, dr.5) took an awkward fly jump and veered out thereby losing considerable ground at the start.  Trainer Faisal A. Abbas has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the mare to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.

After the race, MILLI & OTELLO were trotted and found to be sound and PRINCE IGOR was observed to have an injury on left fore coronet.
