Trainer Prasanna Kumar P.  had submitted an email on 11th September 2024, requesting to withdraw his charge, MASATO, from the race. He stated that he had forgotten to scratch the gelding. In a follow-up email dated 12th September 2024, he explained that the gelding arrived to Pune on 3rd September 2024, was not on regular work and hence was not fit to race. In the meantime, the gelding was subjected to Veterinary examination, which revealed no abnormalities. The Trainer was informed of this, and with his consent, the gelding was sampled.

Later, at the Trainer's request, the horse was treated with Xylaxin due to its fractious behavior while trying to enter the horse ambulance. The matter was reported to the Stewards, who permitted the withdrawal of the horse. However, Trainer Prasanna Kumar P. has been fined Rs.15,000/- for the lapse on his part.

There was a dual declaration in respect of Jockey Vivek G. by Trainer S. S. Attaollahi on DON CARLOS and by Trainer S. Waheed on PYRITE.  After questioning all concerned, Trainer S. S. Attaollahi was permitted to declare Jockey N. S. Parmar on his charge DON CARLOS and Trainer S. Waheed was permitted to declare Jockey Vivek G. on his charge PYRITE.  In this connection, Trainer S. S. Attaollahi has been fined Rs.1,000/- for declaring Jockey Vivek G. without his consent.

Passing the 400 metres, MIGHTY SPARROW (S. Saqlain) shifted out thereby carrying DASH (Yash Narredu) outwards. After the race on questioning, Jockey S. Saqlain reported that his mount was hanging out in the straight, despite his efforts. Trainer P. Shroff has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.

After the race, Jockey Yash Narredu (DASH) reported that his mount was hanging–in in the straight, despite his efforts. Trainer M. Narredu has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.

After the race, THUNDERING PHOENIX was observed to have lost its left fore shoe.

The Equine Hospital reported that DON CARLOS had left eye injury with ulcer and sore both eyes.
