Racing Incidents

At the start MISSEY BOY (M Shahid) was withdrawn before coming under the Starter order as the gelding was very fractious inside the stall. Trainer S M Abbas has been asked to give sufficient gate practice before accepting next to race.

On being questioned regarding running and riding of ‘CLETUS’ Trainer Imdad Ali Khan stated that he had instructed Jockey to sit 3rd/4thand do his best in the straight and he was not satisfied with his riding in the straight. Jockey G S Shekhawat confirmed the instructions and said that he has ridden to the best of his ability. Not being satisfied with his explanation he was fined a sum of Rs.10,000/-for unsatisfactory riding.

Veterinary Examination of KIEF& CLETU Srevealed no apparent abnormality.
