Racing Incidents

Jockey G S Shekhawat (KINGS CREZY) reported that his horse was hanging out during the race.Club Veterinary Officer was requested to examine the horse.Jockey G S Shekhawat was shown the replay and was pointed out that it’s seem she was deliberatelykeeping a wide course.

On being questioned Trainer Imdad Ali Khan stated that he had instructed Jockey to sit in a forward position and he has observed the horse was hanging out and he was satisfied with his riding.Both were shown replay of the race and were informed that Jockey made no efforts and horse was made to travel wide for no apparent reason therefore, Trainer Imdad Ali Khan and Jockey G S Shekhawat both were fined Rs.10,000/-each for unsatisfactory running and riding.

After the race, FARREL was found to be ataxic from behind. Trainer Sarfaraz Khanhas been asked to obtain a veterinary certificate of fitness before presenting his charge for any future trial or race.

Veterinary Examination of KINGS CREZY revealed no apparent abnormality.
