Explanation of Jockey B R Kumar (AOS SI) in the presence of Trainer R H Sequeira that his instructions were to go to front but his mount was sluggish as such he could not position his mount as instructed and thereafter his mount took time to come into stride in the straight. The Trainer while confirming the above added that his charge had a set back and this race is 2nd run of her carrier and in the previous run she ran a pathetic race as compared to this race. The Trainer further added that he has not fancied his charge based on the previous run and gave a chance was noted for future reference. However, Jockey B R Kumar was fined Rs.2000/- for losing his reins in the final stages of the race.

RARE VUE (A A Vikrant) trailed the field throughout the race inspite of Jockeys efforts. Trainer Sk. Waseem Ahmed was advised for a better performance in future.  Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that though the colt was trotting sound but has sharp molars on both sides. Trainer Sk  Waseem Ahmed was fined Rs.1000/- for negligence in discharging his duties in presenting of his charge for a race.
