Permission was granted to Trainer Suraj Prasad Shaw to declare Jockey M.S.Deora to ride SEEKING THE STARS in place of Jockey Akshay Kumar who missed his flight and could not fulfill his riding engagements for the day.

Soon after the start, ASIO (Yash Narredu) was not galloping fluently, repeatedly changed legs throughout the race.

An Enquiry was opened into the riding of ASIO (Yash Narredu) ridden by Jockey Yash Narredu, and trained by Deepesh Narredu. Jockey Yash Narredu, was interviewed and shown recordings of the race, he stated that the gelding was blowing too much, being dry coated; he informed the gelding did not show any spark and also said that he worked well in the morning trials. When questioned about the start when he had a clear passage to be well up there being six furlong race, he informed the gelding jumped well, he didn’t want to go up thinking there are fast horses and wanted to give a chance and ride. Being concerned with his mount's movement he felt it was in the best interest of the horse to ride him out hands and heels to the line, keeping him balanced.

Trainer Deepesh Narredu was called and questioned regarding poor performance of his charge ASIO ridden by Yash Narredu. The recording of the race was shown and explanation was asked. The Trainer informed his gelding did not show any speed and did not show any spark compared to his previous run in race no 24(Madras Races,2024-2025).When shown the recording of the start where his jockey should have made better effort to position, he did not have a plausible answer. He brought to the notice in previous Madras Racing Season (2023-2024),the gelding when ridden by Jockey P.Trevor raced in the similar pattern in that particular race, the Jockey after dismounting in that particular race reported something was not right with the gelding.

The Club's Veterinary Officer was asked to examine the gelding and reported after the race that no abnormalities were found.
