Racing Incidents

SEASMOKE (Kirtish Bhagat) dislodged the rider on its way to the start and ran around the course rider less. Under the circumstances the filly was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders.

Tr. Patrick Quinn was reprimanded for the late arrival of his charge FANCY NANCY to the start thereby delaying the proceedings of the race. The trainer was further advised to ensure that his charges arrive on time in future.

FANCY NANCY was slow to begin.

Jockey Yash Narredu when questioned regarding the performance of his mount TRAKILA stated that while the filly was travelling well till the 500 metres, she failed to give the desired response in the final straight. The Veterinary Officer was requested to examine TRAKILA and submit his report. Post race endoscopy on 7/11/2024 revealed that the filly was suffering from respiratory tract infection Grade 3 and EIPH Grade 1.
