Racing Incidents

GIFTED GIRL (B R Kumar) jumped out slowly losing about 4 or 5 lengths and thereafter refused to raise a fluent gallop, SSC revoked. Trainer A. Imran Khan was advised to show his charge in a Mock race to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards before next accepting in a race.
 
Explanation of Jockey Alex Rozario (VITAL SIGN) in the presence of Trainer R H Sequeira that his instructions were to sit close 2nd/3rd but due to slow initial pace, he found himself in front until entering the straight and thereafter he has done his best in the straight was not accepted and the Jockey was fined Rs. 10,000/- for taking long lead in the initial stages of the race thereby his mount tired in the straight and dropped back.
 
GUN FOR GOLD (G. Naresh) returned lame on right fore due to fetlock joint sprain.
 
CLARA (Akshay Kumar) winner of the race is sampled.
