At the Start, NIZBATI MALANG (K Sunny Kr.) was withdrawn before coming under the Starter order as a colt was extremely fractious inside the stall and tried to duck under the gate. Trainer S M Abbas has been asked to give sufficient gate practice and to show his charge in a mock race before accepting for next race.
 
An Enquiry has been opened into the running & riding of “BUMBLEBEE”.

Jockey Mohit Singh (PALASH) reported loss of whip at about 300 meters (1st incident).

On being questioned regarding running and riding of DIVYA SHAKTHI Trainer S Ali Khan stated that he had instructed the rider to sit 2/3rd and do his best in the straight and that he was not satisfied with his riding.

Jockey K Narender Kr confirmed the instructions and said that his mount went to front on its own and in order to sit 2/3rd as instructed he eased her and in the process other horses overtook him due to which he lost position and went back and in the straight there were horses in front of him and only in final 100 meters he got an opening and by that time race was almost over.

Not being satisfied with the jockeys’ explanation both were presented before the Stewards.

The stewards interviewed Trainer S Ali Khan and Jockey K Narender Kr. and after hearing submissions made by the stipendiary Stewards and viewing the replay of the race they held jockey guilty of Unsatisfactory riding and decided:

1.    To suspend Jockey K Narender Kr. license from 17th Dec to 24th December 2024 (Both days inclusive).

2.    He was informed of his right to appeal.

After the race, PALASH was observed to have found to be lame by its left fore leg. Trainer Syed H Abbas has been asked to obtain a veterinary certificate of fitness prior to his charge being presented for any future trial or race.

Veterinary examination of DIVYA SHAKTHI revealed no apparent abnormality.
