Racing Incidents

b f KERRYGOLD, a declared starter in the above race was examined by the Veterinary Officer on the morning of 7th December, 2024 and found to be suffering from swelling on her mouth due to injury. Under the circumstances the filly was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Tr. Neil Darashah was advised not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer. AEGIR was slow to begin.

GALWAY GIRL was fractious to load.

Jockey A Sandesh (VICTORIA CROSS) reported that his mount hung in soon after the start and was hanging in and running green in the final stages of the race as well, brushing the running rails in the process. Tr. Neil Darashah was advised to take appropriate remedial measures.
