CHAMPAGNESUPERNOVA was difficult to load. MAIN STREET was slow to begin.

An objection was lodged by Jockey Vivek G, the rider of HAMPAGNESUPERNOVA placed 2nd by the Judge against Jockey P Trevor, the rider of MAIN STREET placed 1st on the grounds of “in the last 300 metres when my horse was in full gallop he came in sharply so I had to stop my ride which cost me a certain race”. The Stewards after interviewing Jockeys Vivek G and P Trevor, viewing the CCTV replay of the race and taking into consideration the opinion expressed by the Stipendiary Stewards, decided to overrule the objection and let the Judge’s placings to remain unaltered. The “All Clear” signal was ordered to be hoisted.

Jockey P Trevor (MAIN STREET) was fined a sum of Rs. 2,500/- for failing to exercise proper control over his mount in the concluding states of the race.
