Tr. B Rajender Reddy was permitted to withdraw his charge VENENO as there was no suitable Jockey available to substitute Jockey P Uday Kiran who was declared medically unfit to ride. BIBURY was difficult to load.

TROPICAL LADY was slow to begin.

MEMPHIS (Imran Chisty, drawn 5) jumped outwards bumping into BIBURY (P Trevor, drawn 6) soon after the start. An enquiry was held immediately after the running of the race with particular reference to the fall of b f BIBURY along with its rider Jockey P Trevor passing the 500 metres. At the conclusion of the enquiry the Stewards decided that the Judge’s placings shall remain unaltered and the “All Clear” for the race was given. Jockey P Trevor was given immediate medical attention and was kept under observation. Post race examination revealed that the filly was lame on left fore. Tr. Neil Darashah was advised not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer. The Stipendiary Stewards will enquire further to establish the cause of the above fall.
