FRESH HOPE was difficult to load. JAMAICA which was difficult to load, was slow to begin. Jockey Md. Imran (TENDER HEART) was reprimanded for the feeble handling of his mount. Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was advised to ensure that his charges are run and ridden in such a manner that leaves no room for query. From the test report dated 21" January, 2025 received from the QuantiLab, Mauritius it was observed that the analysis of the urine sample taken from ch m FIERY RED, trained by Mr. Adhirajsingh Jodha and owned by Mrs. Ritu Puri and Mr. Marthand Singh Mahindra, on 12th December, 2024 following it's win in Race No. 46 - THE ARDELIS HANDICAP DIV II of The Calcutta Cold Weather Season 2024-2025 held on 12' December, 2024, had shown the presence of "CAPSAICIN", a Class I prohibited substance under the Rules of Medication and Treatment of Horses in Training & Racing & Anti Doping Control. At the request of Tr. Adhirajsingh Jodha, the 'B' sample was sent to the Laboratoire des Courses Hippiques, France for confirmatory analysis which confirmed the presence of 'CAPSAICIN' in the 'B' sample of the said mare. Therefore, the Stewards, Royal Calcutta Turf Club, taking into cognizance the results of the 'A' and 'B' samples, ordered the disqualification of ch m FIERY RED, placed 1" by the Judge in the above race and revised the order of placings as under :- LIGHT THE WORLD - 1st |
