Racing Incidents

EMERALD TOUCH (A. Ashhad Asbar) and MISS SMILEY ANGEL (Mohit Singh) trailed the field throughout the race inspite of Jockeys efforts.

Jockey P. Sai Kumar (GACHCHHATU) reported that his saddle moved back soon after the start and thereafter his mount ran green in the initial stages of the race inspite of his best efforts, noted. Trainer N. Rawal was cautioned for failing to exercise greater care in saddling of his charge where saddle moved back during the running of the race.

GACHCHHTU (P. Sai Kumar) was observed to have sustained bleeding cut injury over right hind. However, the filly was trotting sound after the race.

The Stewards of the Club suspended Jockey Vivek G (PACIFIC HEIGHTS) from in riding in Races w.e.f. 26th December 2024 to 6th January 2025 both days inclusive and fined him a sum of Rs. 10,000/- for Indifferent handling on his mount PACIFIC HEIGHTS in the above race, under Rule 161 (ii) of the HRC Rules of Racing.

The Jockey is however, permitted to ride work during the period of his suspension.
