As Jockey Afsar Khan, the declared rider of THE GOLDEN SUNRISE was declared medically unfit to ride after his ride in the fourth race, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Santosh Rao S to substitute Jockey R Shiva Kumar to ride THE GOLDEN SUNRISE in place of the declared rider.

It was observed that D LORD (V R Jagadeesh) accidentally stumbled soon after jumping out of the Starting Gates thereby momentarily unbalancing the rider.
