As Jockey S. Antony Raj was certified medically unfit to ride. Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar to declare Jockey A. Sandesh to ride ROYAL DECCAN in place of the declared rider.

JULLY (Shariq Mohd) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Umar Shariff.S (deputising on behalf of Trainer Mr. Azhar Ali) was informed not to accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a jump out on a starting gate practice day.

Jockey L. Alex Rozario, the rider of FELISA was fined Rs.1000/- for coming "in" and causing interference to GREY IMPACT (P. Trevor) on his inside soon after the start.

Jockey Arvind Kumar. N, the rider of MARTINO was fined Rs. 3,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to LIVE THE DREAM (Akshay Kumar), which in turn passed it onto the horses viz; AMUSING (Arshad Alam) and FELISA (L. Alex Rozario) on his outside passing the 1100 meters.

Jockey P. Trevor, the rider of GREY IMPACT was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing the horses on his outside viz; DAIKI (Rajesh Kumar M) and N R I JETPOWER (Tauseef Ahmed) approaching 800 Metres.

Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of AMUSING was reprimanded for shifting "in" and inconveniencing ABSOLUTE KATRINA (Darshan R.N) on his inside approaching 800 meters.
 
Jockey P. Trevor, the rider of GREY IMPACT reported that his mount was hanging out throughout the race. The horse was subjected to veterinary examination but no abnormality was detected. However, Trainer V. Lokanath was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
