Racing Incidents

Rutherford Alford was fined a sum of Rs. 2,000/- for parading his charge IVANHOE in the paddock without a tongue strap. Subsequently the equipment was put on the gelding.

FELIX and ZUCARDI were fractious to be stalled.

ZUMA fly jumped out from the gates.

LAURUS jumped awkwardly from the gates.

CLEVER HANS jumped outwards from the gates.

SEA EAGLE was slow to begin losing approximately 3 – 4 lengths at the start and also lost its right fore shoe during the running of the race. Tr. Neil Darashah was advised to look into the faulty shoeing of his runners and to take remedial measures.
 
FONDNESS OF YOU (Nikhil Naidu) did not get a clear run due to the tightening of the field in the final 400 metres. The Veterinary Officer was requested to examine FONDNESS OF YOU and submit his report. On examination the filly was found to be lame on right fore. Tr. Rajesh Narredu was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

FELIX (Imran Chisty) was tightened by PRINCE ABIR (P Tejeshwar) and SEA EAGLE (Arul J H) close to the winning post. Jockeys P Tejeshwar and and Arul J H were advised to be more careful in future.
