Racing Incidents

As Jockey Antony Raj S was unable to fulfil his riding engagement for the day on medical grounds, Tr.

Adhirajsingh Jodha was permitted to substitute Jockey P S Kaviraj to ride his charge KANYA RASHI.

OH MY SWEETHEART and ARETHA were slow to begin losing approximately 4 – 5 lengths at the start.

The saddle used on LUCKY NINE shifted forward passing the 1300 metres. Tr. B Rajender Reddy was fined a sum of Rs. 2,000/- for faulty saddling.

SUPARAKIGA (A Ashhad Asbar) was denied a clear run from about the 250 metres.

The Veterinary Officer was requested to examine ARETHA, EVGENIA and MONARCHY and submit his reports. On examination :-

a)    MONARCHY was found to be lame on right fore. Tr. Sabeel Shariff was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

b)    ARETHA and EVGENIA were trotting sound.
