Racing Incidents

CAREGIVER (K. Nazil, dr.6) lost about a length at the start.
 
At the start, COLLATERAL (S. G. Prasad, dr.8) jumped inwards and went across GOLDEN GOOSE (App. N. Bhosale, dr.7) who was marginally slow to begin and had to be steadied.
 
Soon after the start, OH KAY (Amyn Merchant) shifted out at the same time QUICKER (App. Aditya Waydande) shifted in thereby tightening and inconveniencing MOUNT SINAI (Nirmal Jodha) and ZENDAYA (A. Sandesh) who were marginally slow to begin causing both the horses to be steadied. Jockey Amyn merchant has been cautioned.
 
Approaching the 200 metres, TRILLIONAIRE (App. S. Saba) shifted out under urgings and went across ZENDAYA (A. Sandesh) racing on its haunches causing the latter to check and change course as a result forcing ARBITRAGE (App. Haridas Gore) inwards onto SPIRIT BAY (App. S. Siddharth). After questioning and not being satisfied, App. S. Saba has been fined Rs.2,000/- and Jockey A. Sandesh has been cautioned.
 
It was observed that GOLDEN GOOSE (App. N. Bhosale) drifted out in the straight and finished the race on the outer portion of the track. After the race on questioning, App. N. Bhosale (GOLDEN GOOSE) stated that his mount drifted out in the straight, despite his efforts. Trainer Narendra Lagad has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.
 
It was observed that MOUNT SINAI (Nirmal Jodha) trailed the field for major part of the race. Trainer Himmat Singh has been asked to ensure that his charge puts up a reasonable performance in the future.
 
After the race, App. Aditya Waydande (QUICKER) reported that approaching the 300 metres his reins slipped momentarily. App. Aditya Waydande has been asked to be more careful in the future.
 
The Stipendiary Stewards are looking into the running and riding of ZENDAYA (A. Sandesh) and a report will be submitted shortly.
 
After the race, QUICKER was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not permitted to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks. The colt has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.
 
After the race, COLLATERAL was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not permitted to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks. The filly has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.
 
After the race, COLLATERAL was examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O. and was found to be sore by right fore. The filly has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.
 
After the race, ZENDAYA, MOUNT SINAI & GOLDEN GOOSE were trotted and found to be sound. TRILLIONAIRE was trotted at the stables and found to be sound.
