BLUE BRIGADE was observed to be trotting lame on right hind as such the mare was permitted to be withdrawn on Veterinary grounds.
 
Explanation of Jockey A A Vikrant (DESERT SULTAN) that his mount jumped out awkwardly on to ARNAZ (Gaurav Singh) and who in turn shifted out on to HOPING QUEEN (Mohit Singh) was not accepted and the Jockey was fined Rs. 1,000/- for shifting out soon after the start and causing interference to ARNAZ (Gaurav Singh).
 
Explanation of Jockey H M Akshay (SECRET OPTION) that his instructions were to sit 4th/5th which he tried to follow until entering the straight and thereafter when asked for an effort, his mount did not show any turn of foot in the straight inspite of his best efforts. Trainer N Ravinder Singh while confirming the above added that he too was baffled with the way of running of his charge and there is no plausible explanation to offer to his charges poor performance was noted for future reference. Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that though the gelding was trotting sound but has sharp molars on both sides. Trainer N. Ravinder Singh was fined Rs. 2000/- for negligence in discharging his duties in presenting of his charge for a race.
 
DESERT SULTAN ( A A Vikrant) was observed to have sustained bleeding cut injury over left fore. However, the gelding was trotting sound after the race.
