SEASMOKE (R Manish, drawn 4) reared up inside its stall, fell and got stuck under the gates. While the mare was trying to come out by herself, she kicked and injured THOUSAND WORDS (Imran Chisty, drawn 3) and BLINKY BILL (Arul JH, drawn 2). All the above horses were taken out from their respective stalls, checked by the Veterinary Officer and revealed that :-

a)    SEASMOKE was lame on left hind.

b)    THOUSAND WORDS was lame on left hind.

c)    BLINKY BILL was lame on left hind.

Under the circumstances above three horses were permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s orders. Trs. B Rajender Reddy, Rutherford Alford and Neil Darashah were advised not to accept with their respective charges until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer. Starting Stall Certificate of SEASMOKE has been revoked by the Starter.

OUTLANDER was difficult to load.

ALL TIME LEGEND was slow to begin.

SOUP AND SANDWICH shied away at about the 200 metres when OUTLANDER came alongside through a gap on the rails.
