Jockey S Kabdhar, the rider of OFF SHORE BREEZE was fined Rs 5000/-for riding an injudicious race.

Explanation of Jockey's Kabdhar (OFF SHORE BREEZE ) that his instructions were to 2nd / 3rd and do his best when shown the replay of the race for his efforts in positioning his horse in forward position he stated his horse could not keep up pace thereafter he did his best was not accepted and the Jockey was fined Rs. 5,000/- for tender handling of his mount. The Jockey was further cautioned to be more careful in future failing which he will be liable for severe disciplinary action.

Trainer J Sebastian was called and asked for his explanation of his mount OFFSHORE BREEZE he informed that his jockey informed him his charge wasn't able to keep up the pace and stated it was wrong distance for his horse when questioned why did he run in that case he stated there was no distance race in his favour to run further than that he did not have a plausible answer and opined that he will run his charge that suit his charge it was noted he was also asked to be more careful in running of his charges Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner DANNY'S GIRL (M.S.Deora).
