Racing Incidents

At the start, SUPER SPEED (K Narender Kr.) & CURRENCY (Praveen Saini) took an awkward jump.

At the start, NIZABATI WINGS (App Abdul Fazal) jumped out awkwardly brushing the front gate due to which jockey lost his right iron stirrup which he regained passing few strides.

Jockey K Narender Kr (SUPER SPEED) was fined Rs 5000/- for jerking reins in the starting gates for no apparent reason due to which mare threw her head up when the start was given.

On being questioned regarding running and riding of CURRENCY jockey Praveen Saini stated that he was instructed to sit 4/5 and do his best but his mount was
 
changing legs and did not respond to his urgings. Trainer Shakti Singh said that his charge was running after a long gap of 3 months as she was suffering from back pain and was being treated for the same however he himself was disappointed with the run. Their statement was noted for future reference.

After the race, Veterinary examination of NIZBATI WINGS revealed presence of Sharp Molar. Trainer Zulfiqar Khan has been asked to obtain a veterinary certificate of fitness before next accepting to race.

Trainer Zulfiqar Khan was fined Rs 3000/- for his negligence.

Veterinary examination of CURRENCY revealed no apparent abnormality.
